About

Terry Fulljames

I’m Terry Fulljames, a long-time resident of British Columbia, and I am running for Mayor of Terrace in 2026.

For over 36 years, I’ve been on the ground, literally building and strengthening our communities. My career is defined by results. I have personally completed over 10,000 building inspections and 10,000 energy audits for Natural Resources Canada.

This hands-on expertise, spanning homebuilding, running local businesses, and leading restoration and retrofit projects, has shown me what works. Most importantly, I’ve built a proven track record of connecting homeowners with tens of millions of Federal and Provincial dollars for vital improvements.

I’ve built my reputation on a community-first approach and delivering measurable results. Now, I am ready to bring that same commitment and proven expertise to the Mayor’s office, making Terrace a more affordable and vibrant community for your family and mine.

It’s not getting easier, in fact, it’s getting more difficult to make ends meet. No one understands this better.

“In the future you will be remembered for the things you did Not the things you didn’t do.”

PASSION FOR POSITIVE CHANGE
I BELIEVE WE CAN MAKE OTHER COMMUNITIES ENVIOUS

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”

is often attributed to Mahatma Gandhi, and it’s a profound call to action.
It suggests that if we want to see improvements in our communities or the world at large, we shouldn’t just wait for others or for circumstances to change. Instead, we should actively embody those changes ourselves and take the initiative to make them happen.
Unprecedented change is upon our country and community, for better or for worse.
The vital question is how we will shape this change to ensure our little corner of Canada becomes an even more amazing place to live. Having served as a property inspector and homebuilder in this region, and as a seasoned world traveler, I deeply appreciate that there’s truly no place like home.
Canadians hold a unique position, both globally and regionally. Our diverse country is vast and pristine, home to eclectic, warm, amazing, and hard-working people who genuinely care for one another and for our environment.
